2nd Attempt: Day 122. A kind heart. Monday 26th July 2010, 49.3km, Steps 59056  (7/26/2010)

D and I emerged from the Caravan Park and realized the Road-house was open for breakfast; I immediately started to fantasies about bacon! D wanted a photo out the front of the roadhouse before we went for breakfast and as we were taking some shots a huge road train pulled in and the driver jumped out and started talking to us. The driver Lance, had seen D and I at least a dozen times since Perth as he does the Perth to Karratha run 4 times a week, he asked if we had had breakfast yet and we said no, so we teamed up and had breakfast together, which Lance very generously paid for. Lance was a wonderful guy with a huge heart and it was great fun talking to him  but D and I had to get going as we had kilometres to run as we were saying our goodbyes Lance handed D a napkin which he had rapped is uneaten steak into for me yum, steak sandwich with bacon for breakfast.
As D started running she was a little stiff in the legs, so when we stopped for the morning tea Glyn gave her a massage and then it was back on the road. As we were running along we were suddenly surrounded by hundreds of galas, their grey and pink feathers back dropped by the blue sky and the green of the scrubs. The galas would take flight as we run towards them and settle about 50 metres up the road only to take flight again as we ran towards them. This repeated behaviour went on for about 10kms until all of a sudden as quickly as the galas had appeared they were gone. After that the day was quite uneventful and D put in a steady pace until we pulled in for the night at Lyndon River Parking Bay.
Running with you soon.
