2nd Attempt: Day 80. A princess way to celebrate a Queens day. Monday 14th June 2010, 64.3km, Steps 76975 (6/14/2010)

A bit of a late start today as D has developed a toe problem, over the last few days, her final toenail has decided to join it’s friends and leave D’s toes for a better life on it’s own, however D’s toe is putting up a bit of a fight and is trying to keep the nail so a few problems have occurred. Due to this D spent some time this morning adding second skin around her toe and cutting a hole in the top of her shoes to relieve some of the pressure on the toe all this special attention is in the hope that the nail doesn’t get infected.

D has big km’s to do today so she is out on her own and besides its the Queen’s Birthday and as a Princess I should be celebrating , so I thought I’d ride around all day in my pink gilded Regent Coach, stopping occasionally to wave to the natives that live out there in the scrub.  Oh it’s a hard life being me.
Being a VIP person one has so much to live up too that’s why, I insist, that my valet (Glyn) runs along beside me at all times, to make sure I’m properly groomed. One never knows when the paparazzi will show up, and you know what their like, they can’t tell black from white.
With me happily sitting on my pink throne I watched as D did a solid days running despite the hills causing her some toe pain and she pulled in at the 100k to Ravensthorpe for the night.
After pressures of my day all I could think of was a VIP dinner which I’m sure my valet can organize dinner something and sleep.
Running with you soon.
Maggie (Director of Greeting)
