2nd Attempt: Day 4: Long hard day with blister problems, Tuesday 30th March 2010, 46.2km, Steps 62461 (3/30/2010)

We left Ross this morning amid a heavy fog and the early dawn light created soft silhouettes of the trees, and as the sun filtered through the fog the fences and barns made their appearance only to melt into obscurity. As the sun slowly ascended the midland landscape came alive and before D and I stood natures early morning stage, oh listen to me getting back on the road has brought out the romantic poet in me.

Today it was a heads down get the job down kind of day as D wanted to be as close to Launceston as possible as we have to meet the mayor and media tomorrow the only problem with this is that D’s blister is causing some big problems so it was a very long and slow slog before we pulled up after dark, a big day, but we were where D had wanted to be.
I am very tired and it’s time for VIP dinner and bed. Bye M
