Hills, hills, hills Day 169, 64.9km (4/11/2009)

A beautiful morning this morning clear skies and a full moon. The landscape much the same as yesterday hilly, 2nd day of hills starting to take its toll on D’s legs and energy levels. As the sun crept into the morning sky we could see both the sun and the moon in the sky at the same time, a truly special sight. However I was a tad confused as I couldn’t work out whether it was day or night for a moment. As the day wore on drizzling rain came and I decided to have a wee rest until mid afternoon, I made it to the car just in time as it bucketed down for about 20 minutes and D got drenched and had to wring out her shorts and T-shirt on the side of the road. We found another gravel pit for the night and D thought she’d loosen up with some Yoga. She finds downwards dog and upwards dog very helpful and I know downward dog works for me, so I suppose it works for D. Us dog’s have really helped humanity, when you come to think of it maybe yoga should have been called doga. Well now I am stretched and relaxed so it’s off to bed.

Running with you soon
