A morning tea surprise. Day 122, 45.2km  (2/23/2009)

We left Gympie this morning on our way towards Maryborough and as we had no official appointments today and D’s legs were sore after the hilly terrain we traversed yesterday I thought it best that we took it a bit easier and take a few more breaks in the run so D could have a couple of extra leg massages to help her tired legs recoup. Running in hills doesn’t really bother me so much as when you are in 4PD (4 pawed drive) up and down hills is a lot easier on ones, pegs. After a couple of hours on the road we stopped for morning tea and to my surprise D had pinched some of that beautiful pink and chocolate cake from Gympie last night. Yummy! A bit of cake and a bowl of milk what more could a girl ask for? Sometimes I could just lick D for looking away me so well. With a belly full of yummy cake we jogged leisurely along through more lush green country side and sugar cane fields until we found a suitable gravel pit to set up camp for the night.

Running with you soon
