A visit to a school and a soggy afternoon. Day 14, 32kms (11/7/2008)

After two weeks on the road and after yesterday’s huge day Deborah wake up this morning will her energy levels a little depleted but after a round or two of black coffee with honey, scrambled eggs fresh tomato and baked beans, her usual breakfast and of course my bikkies and milk, my usual breakfast we were off and running towards Mole Creek. At 9am we visited the students at the Mole Creek Primary School were Deborah gave an inspirational speech about following your dreams and positive affirmation, things that we puppies and kiddies should hear more about. I got lots of love and attention from the students and we run around the oval together and did some stretch exercises, it was a whole lot of fun and you can see the photos in the gallery. The wonderful students and staff at the school raised $150 towards our cause. Thanks to all.  As the afternoon become cloudy we headed off towards Sheffield and Railton by about 2pm it started to drizzle and by 4pm it was raining heavily, by then I decided that I didn’t want to be a soggy doggy anymore and someone, we want name them (Glyn) left my booty’s in the boot so I was getting my feet wet and decided I had, had enough. Deborah of cause keep going, a little rain isn’t going to stop this girl, but by the time we got to Railton even Deborah’s good humour was flagging due to being soaked through and through. Even though we are camping on the side of the road, thanks’ to our Regent caravan Deborah could have a quick warm shower to take the chilli out. As I write this there is a huge storm going on outside and our wee caravan is a rocking. I hope tomorrow brings sunshine but now my typing paws are getting tired so night all.

Running or napping with you soon
