Struggling in a head wind. Day 9: 49.2km  (11/2/2008)

Deborah has completely lost her voice and she is really struggling and yet she still managed to clock up nearly 50kms today. We spent the day struggling into a cold head wind and Deborah finally made it into Campbelltown at 7pm over 2 hours late.   The whole crew and I are very worried about Deborah as she is finding it very hard to run under the continuing health issues that have being surrounding her. To make the situation worst Deborah now has developed a huge blister on the sole of her right feet that is making her situation worst. I wish I could help her out more than just keeping her company; however I think that the continuous support from the Tasmanian community and their generosity towards our cause keeps Deborah going. So keep the waves on the road happening, the toots going and the donations coming because that what helps Deborah to keep going during these tough moments.   We always knew that the first 1500kms would be tough but we didn’t plan or think that they would be this tough, let’s all pray that this flu would be over soon.

Running with you soon
